Tennessee Titans 2015 NFL Draft Preview

Teams are putting the finishing touches on their preparation as the 2015 NFL Draft is nearly here.

To preview the draft for the Tennessee Titans, I got together with Will Lomas of Titan Sized. Below are my questions followed by his answers.

1. What are the team’s biggest needs heading into the draft and how might they address them?

"While quarterback is always a big need on a non-playoff team, the need at wide receiver shouldn’t be underrated."

  • 2. What needs to happen for this draft to be considered a success?

"With all the buzz, a trade back with extra picks and four perceived starters at the biggest need positions (QB, RT, EDGE, WR) would make this feel successful."

    3. What in your mind would make this draft a failure?

"Drafting Leonard Williams. Williams will likely be a very good player, but not only is this not a position of need, it is ignoring the perceived trade value of Marcus Mariota."

    4. What is a bold prediction for your team this draft?

"The Titans will draft a running back with one of their first three selections despite adding one in the second round last year."

    5. What is a draft angle the general public might not be aware of for your team?

"The Titans don’t have a right tackle. While people look back and see the addition of Chance Warmack and Taylor Lewan and believe the Titans offensive line is set, there is a big hole at RT that needs to be filled by someone."
