This one is a double surprise here!

The New York Jets selected who many believe is the best player in the 2015 NFL Draft. Williams wasn’t expected by many to make to Oakland Raiders at No. 4 muchless two picks past them. But the even bigger surprise is that the Jets, who already have dominant interior defensive linemen Muhamaad Wilkerson and Sheldon Richardson, picked him.

I guess there really are G.M.s out there in the NFL world that believe in picking the best available player. I’m not sure how this helps the Jets as they are but in the NFL, football players are assetts. So I expect one of these interior defensive lineman to be moved to try to get something or someone that can help the Jets out.

But in terms of getting the best player, the Jets have done well for themselves.

We’ll see what their plans are soon.
