player. 47.
The Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots have lost a lot of key defensive players this offseson. Cornerbacks Brandon Browner and Darrelle Revis along with defensive tackle Vince Wilfork are all gone. The Patriots can only try to replace one of them at a time so they chose defensive tackle Malcolm Brown in the first round.

Like Wilfork, Brown is a huge man that can’t be moved off the line of scrimmage at 6’2″, 319 pounds. He’s also supremely athletic for such a huge man, using it to rush the passer a little. But Wilfork was the heart and soul of that defense, something Brown will have to grow into.

With the similarities Brown and Wilfork have, the Patriots may have physically replaced Wilfork. They knew that they couldn’t do that at all at the cornerback position so they didn’t even try. Like he’s done is over his whole career in New England, head coach Bill Belichick will have to find a different way to win football games in 2015.
. DT. Texas. Malcolm Brown. 32
