Running Game

Having one of the “biggest, most athletic offensive lines” means the Raider should be able to open up holes in the running game. That means the Raiders will get to see what running back Latavius Murray can do with good blocking. He looked like the guy in spots last year but has to break tackles and make guys miss this year.

Even in games he performed well in last year, he was always brought down by the first man he was confronted with. You don’t always get the big holes he got on his 90-yard touchdown run so he’ll have to prove it takes more than one to bring him down. His competition will be 2012 No. 3 overall Trent Richardson, who’s looking to reclaim his career.

The first man never brings him down but he was in a scheme he didn’t fit in Indianapolis and lost so burst by getting a little heavy. He’s going to have to come in trim and ready if he’s going to reclaim his career in Oakland. Between the two of them, I’m sure the Raiders will get the production they need with the offensive line they have.
