Shane Ray

The Denver Broncos were very happy outside linebacker Shane Ray fell to No. 22 where they took him. The best thing for Ray right now is to go to a team that has Von Miller and Demarcus Ware. Ray needs is a good athlete that lacks pass-rush technique and his athleticism won’t get him by in the NFL.

Ray learned right away in training camp that he has a ways to go as he was hymned up by experience NFL offensive lineman. And of course, he’s No. 2 on the depth chart behind Ware as he learns. The plan is for him to develop as the Sun sets on Ware’s career and for him to take over when Ware is gone.

MileHighHuddle’s Chad N. Jensen said, “Ray struggled to make flashy plays to start off camp, but he has increasingly began to show fans and coaches what made him such a productive player at Missouri. When the coaches rested Ware, Ray got the opportunity to play with the first-team defense. This experience should serve him well.”
