The Indianapolis Colts stunned many when they selected receiver Phillip Dorsett No. 29 overall. They didn’t exactly have a need at receiver nor was Dorsett consider the best available by many. But like most NFL teams, they care not what the media believes they go off of what they see.

And despite having Andre Johnson and T.Y. Hilton at receiver, the Colts believe Dorsett will make an immediate impact. Hilton is a blazer himself but Dorsett’s speed is on another level and he will be given the job of taking the top off the defense. That 4.2 40 speed Dorsett possesses has been on full display in training camp and safety taken notice.

He told Indystar.com, “When T.Y. runs fast, you can see it,” Adams said. “When Phillip runs, you can’t really see it. It’s a smooth fast. It’s effortless. It’s gliding. The way he gets out of his breaks, it’s so smooth. I haven’t seen that in a long time. I haven’t seen guys run routes like him in a while. I can’t even describe it.”
