The Detriot Lions still have a dynamic passing attack led by quarterback Matthew Stafford and receiver Calvin Johnson. And Haloti Ngata is in town now to help absorb the loss of Ndamukong Suh on defense. Now, the team needs to get more physical on offense and run the football, especially in the winter months.

They also need protection up the middle so Stafford doesn’t get too much pressure right in his face. So at No. 28 overall, the Lions took guard Laken Tomlinson to help out in all the above areas. But so far, Manny Ramirez is the starting left guard while Larry Walford is the starting right guard.

Meanwhile, Tomlison hasn’t dominated but looked okay, running against the other team’s twos. Even if he were dominating, it’s against the twos so there’s no way I can see a high grade for this case. Tomlinson and his Lions get a C- until he does well against the other teams ones.
. OG.
