I. <p>The Mike Wallace experiment didn’t work out very well for the Miami Dolphins last year. So they went into this past offseason needing a No. 1 receiver for star quarterback Ryan Tannehill. And Devante Parker had more receiving yards than anyone in college football over the second half of the season.</p> <p>His size, speed, route-runing, hands and ability to go up and get it allowed him to do that. The aforementioned traits are the sum of all the parts it takes to be a No. 1 receiver in the NFL. He also played in a pro-style offense so to me, he was more ready to make an immediate impact than Kevin White.</p><div class=. WR. Louisville. DEVANTE PARKER

Parker impressed in the offseason program but soon discovered he would need surgery on his foot. So Tannehill and the Dolphins are going to have to wait awhile to use Parker. Therefore, I have to wait as well so his progress report grade will be an I for incomplete until we see him play.
