Pittsburgh Steelers franchise quarterback “Big” Ben Roethlisberger has another six good years left. And he’ll be safe behind the offensive line that center Maurkice Pouncey will anchor for years to come. And of course, there’s running back Le’Veon Bell to take the pressure off and receivers Antonio Brown and Martavis Bryant to complete an explosive offense for years to come.
But the Steelers need the next generation of the Steel Curtain defense they’re traditionally known for to arise. Giving up 4.4 yards per carry and finishing No. 26 in the NFL in sacks in 2014 just isn’t right. That’s not the Steelers but it looks like the next generation of the Steel Curtain is coming in 2015.
