28. Denver Broncos (6-0)- Max Tuerk, C, USC
The Peyton Manning era appears to be coming to a close which means the Denver Broncos will need to change the identity of the offense. Gary Kubiak has always leaned heavily on the running game which seems like a logical direction for the team once Manning moves on. In order to make that transition the Broncos will need to address the offensive line.
Kubiak’s zone-running scheme looks for athletic linemen capable of cutting off defenders and sealing them from the play. USC’s Max Tuerk is an exceptional athlete who can execute blocks at all levels. Tuerk is also an extremely versatile player having experience playing each of the positions along the offensive line. This is a valuable trait because it means he can be moved around to compensate for any injuries.
Depending on the organization’s thoughts on Brock Osweiler, the Broncos could be another team looking at Memphis’ Paxton Lynch.
