1. player. 35.
Marcus Mariota, the team’s 2015 No. 2 overall, looks like the truth that’s soon to be a franchise quarterback. With the receiver corps and tight end they have, the Titans are on their way on offense. But none of that means anything if they can’t protect Mariota and get him hurt like they did this year.

So when the Titans pick at No. 1 overall, it should be left tackle Laremy Tunsil of Mississippi. Taylor Lewan is okay but looks more like a right tackle and the Titans need more than one solid tackle. The Titans can also kick Jeremiah Poutasi inside to guard because tackle looks like too much for him.

Plus Tunsil looks like he could very well be the best football player in the 2016 NFL draft. So after making this pick, Tunsil can be the Titans franchise left tackle andl Lewan can move to the right side. This way, the Titans can have two book-end tackles and Mariota can be safe in the pocket.

The Titans already have a solid defense so getting Tunsil to help Mariota would help the offense hold up their end. All the Titans would need is a running back after this pick and they can get one in the second round. The AFC South is very weak so it is possible for the Titans to go from worst to first in their division in 2016.
. LT. Mississippi. Laremy Tunsil
