2016 Team Needs: AFC South

Indianapolis Colts
Team Needs: OL, OLB, CB
Andrew Luck took more than a beating in 2015, missing nine games with a myriad of injuries, including a lacerated kidney. Anthony Castonzo and Jack Mewhort are a good pair on the left side, but the right side of the Colts offensive line is solid, but Todd Herremans was a disastrous FA signing, and Denzelle Good played average for a seventh round pick. If the Colts are intent on signing Andrew Luck to a blockbuster deal, they need to invest in some protection for him.
Three Options: Joe Barksdale (FA), Jason Spriggs, Jack Conklin
On defense, the Colts need an immediate upgrade at outside linebacker. Robert Mathis is 35 and only played in five games last season, and Erik Walden doesn’t have a much better outlook. He will be 31 by the time the season begins, and also only played in five games. The Colts were in the bottom third of the league in sacks, and need an edge setting linebacker who can get to the quarterback.
Three Options: Tamba Hali (FA), JoshuaPerry, Kyler Fackrell
In the secondary, corner Greg Toler leaving is addition by subtraction, as his poor play brought down the unit as a whole. Opposite Vontae Davis, Darius Butler is only under contract for one more season and D’Joun Smith was only able to get on the field for four games in his rookie year. A rookie corner or veteran free agent would greatly improve the secondary going forward.
Three Options: William Gay (FA), Jalen Mills, Artie Burns
Next: Houston Texans
