player. 53.
Nothing good is going to happen to the Cleveland Browns until the find their franchise quarterback. Head coach Hue Jackson is going to bring in the guy he believes is ready to get it done now. And Jared Goff from California is the guy that’s most ready along with all the upside he has.

Goff is 6’4″, 220, has a big arm, is very athletic and has the accuracy to put the ball where he wants to. He used that skill-set to break the Pac-12’s single-season TD pass record previously held by Oregon’s Marcus Mariota with 42 in 2014. But it’s the kid’s intangibles that set him apart from the rest of the quarterback prospects.

He’s very calm under pressure and will deliver an accurate ball knowing he’s going to get crushed. He had to display that trait at California because he didn’t have the talent around him other Pac-12 schools had. When Goff started as a freshman in 2013 the Golden Bears were horrible, finishing with a 1-11 record.

And just a couple of years later, his true junior year, he had the Golden Bears over .500 at 8-5. And at the end of that year, the Golden Bears went to and won a Bowl Game for the first time in seven years. That right there shows you that Goff is up for the type of rebuild the Browns need to make.
. QB. California. Jared Goff. 2
