The Tennessee Titans defense finished just outside the top 10 in yards given up last year. The core of it is coming back and with Demarco Murray running the ball in 2016, that ranking will get even better. The running game Murray will provide the Titans will also help young quarterback Marcus Mariota.

In TE Delanie Walker and WRs Kendall Wright and Dorial Green-Beckham, Mariota has weapons too. So now, protecting him is all the Titans need to do and it should be their highest priority. Mariota was sacked and hit a lot in 2015 and it eventually led to him getting injured last year.

The Titans didn’t do anything in free agency to address protecting their franchise QB so they’ll likely do it in the draft. They do have the No. 1 overall pick and are set up to take their franchise left tackle. And that franchise left tackle just so happens to be the best overall prospect in the draft.
