2. player. 54.
Wentz definitely has the traits to be a superstar quarterback in the NFL one day but not right away. He’s better for a team that has at least a serviceable quarterback so he can sit and develop. His mind didn’t processes what he saw fast at North Dakota so he has to work on that to succeed in the NFL.

The Rams gave up their King’s ransom for Wentz as they would have taken him No. 1 if necessary. The Philadelphia Eagles are in a different situation with Sam Bradford so they don’t need Wentz to play immediately. Keep the pressure off of him early on while he gets a better feel for the speed of the game and speeds his mind up.

You have to give your quarterback good habits or he can end up not reaching whatever upside they may have. The Eagles believe they have enough to win with good quarterback play just like the Rams. But they’re not moving to Los Angeles plus the coach just signed on so the urgency isn’t the same.

They brought their guy in so they can develop him into the next Ben Rothlisberger or Joe Flacco. Bradford’s extension with the Eagles was only for two years so the Eagles clearly planned this out. Even though Rothlisberger and Flacco are the guys he gets compared to, they need to bring him along like Aaron Rodgers.
. QB. North Dakota State. Carson Wentz
