Philadelphia Eagles. 32. team. 54.
It isn’t very hard to see why the Philadelpia Eagles are in the No. 32 slot of these Power Rankings. The team is clearly in rebuild mode looks to have blown the draft part of it. They gave up way too much for a quarterback that won’t be ready for at least two years.

Sam Bradford played very well down the stretch in 2015 but with the picks the Eagles gave up this year, there won’t be much around him. Many are calling rookie quarterback Carson Wentz “the next Ben Roethlisberger” but that can’t be the case when they plan to sit him Year 1.

The Eagles didn’t absolutley nothing to get better in 2016 and when that happens, teams get worse. I understand head coach Dough Pederson is a quarterback whisperer but Wentz freaked out when there was pressure at the Division 1 AA level so the NFL will be a nightmare for him.

We’ll see if Pederson can coach that out of them but either way, the trade doesn’t bode well for them this year. The Eagles lost a lot of talent under Kelly’s watch and instead of using the draft to replace it, they tricked it off on a quarterback that won’t play this year so 2016 is a wash.
. (2-14).
