Previous: . Tennessee Titans. 31. team. 35.
The Tennessee Titans have the head coach-quarterback combination of Mike Mularky and Marcus Mariota coming back in 2016. And this combination can’t be trusted as far as you can throw it. Mariota will take a while to get the pro game down and Mularky isn’t a quarterback whisperer.

Mariota didn’t have bad overall numbers in 2015 but stats are often misleading. He was money in the redzone but hardly got there as the Titans were No. 29 in the NFL on third down. Mariota didn’t make big plays either as he was dead last in downfield accuracy percentage.

Mariota doesn’t have the greatest pocket awareness either as a good perentage of the 38 sacks he took were on him. Jack Conklin, the team’s 1st-round pick, isn’t a franchise changing talent either. The Titans didn’t do much in free agency either so they didn’t get better this offseason.

They’re also facing a much tougher schedule, playing against the AFC West and the NFC North while the rest of the AFC South got much better. Sorry, Marcus Mariota has a long way to go and won’t be an elite quarterback until Mularky is no longer the coach of the Titans.
. (2-14)
