Over the past few weeks I’ve posted articles looking at projected NFL Depth Charts.
We’re are a few weeks a way from training camps kicking off which means we will start to see NFL Depth Charts taking shape. Training camp is the time where we see a lot of competition and players make a push to earn playing time.
There are a ton of fluidity when it comes to depth charts with changes happening as often as on a day to day basis. Things like injuries and player performance are the main factors in the changes.
The plan is to continually update these articles as concrete information is made available.
NFC East
The big story line in the NFC East is the health of Tony Romo. Dallas feels that they have build a strong roster and can make a run at the Superbowl if Romo is able to stay on the field.
NFC West
Seattle and Arizona appear ready to battle it out again this season where both should be two of the top teams in the NFL.
NFC North
The Packers and Vikings sit atop the division, but the Bears and Lions are better than most realize and could compete for a playoff spot.
NFC South
The Panthers are the clear favorite in the division with the upstart Buccaneers looking like the most dangerous challenger.
AFC East
Tom Brady’s 4-game suspension could open the door for one of these other franchises to finally knock the Patriots down a peg.
AFC West
Denver had some major roster turnover but should still be able to field a very strong team. However, many are excited to see if the Oakland Raiders collection of talent can make things interesting.
AFC North
This division appears to be a two team race between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals. Both have enough talent on the roster to make a legitimate Super Bowl run.
AFC South
The Houston Texans are hoping that the free agent additions of Brock Osweiler and Lamar Miller will lead to another playoff appearance.
