Quarterback
Starter: Eli Manning
Backup: Ryan Nassib

Eli Manning has been one of the most consistent quarterbacks in the NFL. He not only provides solid production but is also a good leader and knows how to stay healthy. His performance last year was largely overlooked.

Manning was able to put up strong numbers despite dealing with a poor offensive line and limited depth at the receiver position. New York is hoping that a healthy Victor Cruz and the addition of Sterling Shepard will be a major help.

Ryan Nassib is an underrated backup who has yet to get a chance to prove himself. The issue is that New York may never get a chance to see what he’s capable of.

Running Back
Starter: Rashad Jennings
Backup: Shane Vereen

Rashad Jennings is in line to get most of the early-down carries. He’s a solid contributor who is capable of moving the chains. Jennings is also a solid receiver and does a good job in pass protection. He doesn’t get much work in the passing game since the addition of Shane Vereen.

Vereen is an elite pass catching running back who creates mismatches. He’s a quarterback’s best friend because of his ability to locate openings in the defense and turn a short completion into a big gain.
