2. Development of Jameis Winston

Jameis Winston had a very strong rookie season that has everyone expecting him to quickly develop into a star player. He has always had the physical tools to succeed, but has also shown the ability to be a leader and work to improve.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have put some good weapons around Winston and could be poised for a big season offensively. Winston options at wide receiver include Mike Evans and Vincent Jackson.

Both players are bigger targets who aren’t afraid to go up and attack the football. The Buccaneers also have Cameron Brate and Austin Seferian-Jenkins at tight end that have the

potential to be real difference makers in the passing game.

Winston can also lean on his running game where Doug Martin has been able to regain the production he showed as a rookie. All the pieces are in place for Winston to take a big step forward this year.

As a whole, the Buccaneers defense still has some issues that could keep the team from making a playoff push. This means that there will be added pressure on the shoulders of Winston who will be asked to put up enough points to overcome the defensive issues.
