42. After watching him play lately, I still think DeShone Kizer is the best quarterback in this class, But I’m not so sure about him as a No. 1 overall or even a Top-5 pick anymore. However, I do believe the 49ers will see him as the perfect pick to move on from Colin Kaepernick. <p>They hired head coach Chip Kelly to try to straighten Kaepernick out but he suddenly wanted a trade. Then the 49ers sat him because his contract had injury guarantees. But according to the new one that got him on the field, Kaepernick can become a free agent after this season.</p> <p>The reason why Kizer is the perfect quarterback is because he’s a pro style and a Spread Offense QB. So now, if Kaepernick doesn’t work out, they can move on with Kizer and Kelly in the Spread. And if Kelly and the Spread don’t work out, the 49ers can move on with Kizer.</p> <p>No one ever knows what the 49ers are thinking but they don’t have a problem firing coaches. And from what we see now, it doesn’t look like Kelly is going to last very long. So it’s a good idea for the 49ers to make sure they don’t get stuck with a Spread QB.</p>. QB. Notre Dame.
