TE. Alabama. O.J. Howard. 10. player. 16. According to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport, the Buffalo Bills are likely keep QB Tyrod Taylor. The choice is between giving Taylor $31.5 million for 2017 and reaching for a QB. Reaching for a QB in the Top-10 does more damage to a franchise than anything.
So they go ahead and overpay Taylor, who isn’t a bad QB, until his guaranteed money is paid. And if he doesn’t turn out to be what the Bills want, there’s a good class of QBs coming up in 2018. Giving Taylor the weapons to succeed is a good idea for the Bills at this point.

The Bills offense already has a solid running game and 2014 first-round WR Sammy Watkins. Another weapon to go with him on third down would help Jones a lot. O.J. Howard is a match-up nightmare the NFL is going to have a hard time trying to stop.

He’s way too fast for linebackers and way too big for guys in the secondary to cover him. He’s also a great run blocker so RB LeSean McCoy can continue to shine with Howard in there. The New England Patriots are about to find out what it’s like for teams trying to stop Rob Gronkowski.
