Ohio State. Marshon Lattimore. 5. player. 35. The Tennessee Titans are picking at No. 5 overall because of the trade they made with the Los Angeles Rams. They’re only a couple of players away from contending out of the AFC. One of them is a weapon at WR for young QB Marcus Mariota to throw the ball down the field to.
The other one is a CB to take the place of Perrish Cox on the other side of Jason McCourty. They have a solid front-seven that gets after the QB with Dick LeBeau’s blitzing scheme. A shutdown CB that could play any type of coverage would make the Titans defense better.

The universal No. 1 prospect here is Ohio State’s Marshon Lattimore, who sealed it at the combine. This kid has everything you want in a CB at 6’0″, 200 pounds and 31 1/4-inch long arms. And he showed it by running a 4.36 40 and posting a 38.5-inch vertical leap.

That backs up what I saw on tape along with this physicality for press-man and feet for off-man coverage. He also has great instincts and route-reading skills for zone coverage. Now all the Titans have to do is get Mariota that WR he needs at No. 18 overall.
. CB
