4th Round, No. 111 overall- Artavis Scott, WR, Alabama

Artavis Scott is a sneaky good prospect whose numbers was negatively impacted by the quarterback play at Alabama. Actually, the entire offensive attack at Alabama leaned more towards the running game rather than the passing game.

Scott is a well rounded prospect who features solid size and speed. He has shown the ability to

make big plays down the field while also the toughness to work over the middle. Scott would give the Bears another option for their makeshift wide receiver corps.

4th Round, No. 117 overall (via Buff)- Nathan Peterman, QB, Pittsburgh

Chicago needs to add a young developmental quarterback during this draft. Mike Glennon may develop into a good starter, but that is far from a certainty. The Bears must have another potential long-term option on the roster.

Nathan Peterman has seen his overall draft stock improve throughout the course of the season. He is a heady player who does a great job taking care of the football. Pittsburgh’s offensive game plan didn’t allow Peterman to sling it around and rack up huge numbers.

The Bears have experience working with Peterman who was on the North Squad at the Senior Bowl which featured Chicago’s head coaches. They were able to see firsthand what type of upside Peterman has.
