The early free agency run is all but over and the Philadelphia Eagles made some major additions that has shaken up my latest Philadelphia Eagles 2017 NFL Mock Draft.

By adding Alshon Jeffery and Torrey Smith, the Philadelphia Eagles added some big-time playmakers for Carson Wentz. Philadelphia obviously recognized that last year’s group of receivers were hurting the young quarterback’s development.

More from With the First Pick

They needed more established and reliable pass catchers to replace the likes of Jordan Matthews, Nelson Agholor and Dorial Green-Beckham.

Despite these additions, Philadelphia has some work to do on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball. They need to find a running back capable of staying healthy and moving the chains. Luckily, the 2017 NFL Draft has a ton of talent at the running back position.

Their free agency spending also didn’t address their need at the cornerback position. In fact, they lost Nolan Carroll who was a starter for most of last year.

The Eagles again find themselves in a lucky spot as the 2017 NFL Draft has an extremely deep group of cornerbacks. They should have no trouble finding someone capable of being an immediate starter with their 1st round pick.

This draft is so deep at cornerback that they could find potential starters as late as the 3rd round.
