1. Cleveland Browns- Myles Garrett, Edge, Texas A&M

Myles Garrett is the best prospect in this draft and someone capable of making an immediate impact. He has the potential to routinely top the double-digit sack mark. Garrett will also be a great fit in Gregg Williams system.

2. San Francisco 49ers- Marshon Lattimore, CB, Ohio State

Latimore’s extremely impressive combine performance has really helped his stock. It shows that he’s not only a top-flight cover man, but also an elite athlete. The 49ers don’t need more players like Solomon Thomas or Jonathan Allen making Lattimore a possibility.

He’d give the 49ers a potentially elite corner to build their defense around.

3. Chicago Bears- Solomon Thomas, DE, Stanford

The Bears could look at Jamal Adams at this spot, but defensive linemen capable of generating pressure typically get the nod. Solomon Thomas is a versitale defender a capable of winning with speed and power.

He would fit in opposite Akiem HIcks and alongside Eddie Goldman to give the Bears a strong defensive line.

4. *Projected Trade* Los Angeles Chargers (Jax)- Jamal Adams, S, LSU

– Trade Details- Chargers trade No. 7 overall and 3rd round pick for the Jaguars No. 4 overall pick

The Chargers are a player or two away from having an elite defensive. Adding a playmaking safety like Jamal Adams could be the missing piece. He’s someone who can create turnovers, support the run and hold up in coverage.

Jacksonville would be smart to try and add some extra picks by moving down. Their biggest need is along the offensive line and none of the prospects would represent good value here.

5. Tennessee Titans (Rams)- Mike Williams, WR, Clemson

Tennessee addressed a lot of their needs in free agency, but have yet to give Marcus Mariota a major weapon at wide receiver. Clemson’s Mike Williams is a playmaker who excels at making the big catch down field.

His ability to high point the football makes him someone capable of hauling in poorly thrown balls. It also makes him a huge threat in the red zone.

6. New York Jets- Mitchell Trubisky, QB, North Carolina

The signing of Josh McCown gives the Jets a bridge quarterback and someone to mentor the team’s long-term solution. All the signs say that New York isn’t high on Christian Hackenberg which means they need another option.

Mitchell Trubisky is a raw quarterback, but has the raw tools need to succed in the NFL. He could sit behind McCown for most of the year and step in when the Jets feel he is ready.

Personally, I have Trubisky rated as a late 2nd-round prospect but quarterback prospects are always pushed up the draft board.
