UCLA. Fabian Moreau. 28. player. 123. Gee, I don’t think anyone wonders what the Dallas Cowboys think of their secondary from 2016. Byron Jones and Orlando Scandrick are the only starters that will return in 2017. If the Cowboys can get it together on defense, they can become contenders in the NFC.
QB Dak Prescott, RB Ezekiel Elliott, WR Dez Bryant, TE Jason Witten and the O-line are back. The RB and QB are going into their second years respectively so they’ll be that much better. It’ just up to a defense that will finally be getting 2016 second-round pick Jaylon Smith.

Adding him to Sean Lee will make that LB corps one of the better ones in the league. The Cowboys aren’t ready to give up on DEs DeMarcus Lawrence and Randy Gregory coming of the edge yet. So at No. 28 overall the Dallas Cowboys replenish the CB position with Fabian Moreau.

At the combine, Moreau showed that he’s everything you want in a CB athletically. His torn pectoral muscle from the bench press at his Pro Day may have dropped him this low. He’ll be back from the injury in time for training camp so he can still help the Cowboys right away.
.
