This group has both Deshaun Watson and Patrick Mahomes coming off the board. However, they land with teams that don’t necessarily need a quarterback. The Giants need to start planning for life without Eli Manning and Watson would be a great replacement.
Ben Roethlisberger flirted with retirement this offseason which means he could be on his way out of the league sooner rather than later. Mahomes is a big physical quarterback who could develop into a Roethlisberger light.
The two big-name tight ends, OJ Howard and David Njoku, also find new homes in this group. Baltimore loves going with the best player available and Howard would qualify. Tennessee went with a defensive back with their first pick and now find a weapon for Marcus Mariota.
