There were concerns about him when he showed up at the combine at 6’1″, 240 pounds. But he did the right thing and got himself down to 228 pounds at his pro day. <p>When at 230 pounds, his combination of speed and power got him compared to Bo Jackson and Herschel Walker. He had Fred Taylor pounding the rock last time he was in Jacksonville and Brandon Jacobs in New York. The Jaguars have already built a heck of a defense and improved the O-line over there. So a physical RB like Fournette would definitely help the team take a step up.

The running game would help to QB Blake Bortles make better decisions with the football too. He wouldn’t feel like he had to do something spectacular for the team to win a game. The Jaguars have to stop all this losing some time and 2017 just might be the year.
