Quarterback

The fact that the Cleveland Browns are considering Mitch Trubisky No. 1 overall and he isn’t my top-rated quarterback shows the craziness of this draft. Personally, I have Trubisky rated as a 3rd round pick who needs a ton of work.

His lack of experience is the real hang up and the fact he didn’t dominate when he was on the field. Deshaun Watson is the exact opposite as someone who has tons of experience and in big-game situations.

Patrick Mahomes is the most physically gifted quarterback in this class, but he’s also the most raw. He really needs to completely remake his mechanics and learn how to play the quarterback position. His long-term success depends on whether or not he lands with a strong coaching staff.

More from With the First Pick

Brad Kaaya is my sleeper quarterback as someone who has experience playing in a pro-style offense and good skills. He could be the one quarterback who surprises everyone and quickly becomes a successful starter.
