38. Los Angeles Chargers- Davis Webb, QB, Cal

The Chargers need to start looking towards the future and life after the 35-year old Philip Rivers. Davis Webb is an unfinished product, but he has the arm strength and character needed to develop into a success NFL quarterback.

39. New York Jets- Dalvin Cook, RB, Florida State

New York needs to focus on adding good football players no matter the position. Dalvin Cook has his issues, but he would be a steal at this point in the draft. He’s one of the more explosive offensive players available.

40. Carolina Panthers- Cordrea Tankersley, CB, Clemson

I love Cordrea Tankersley’s combination of size and ball skills. The rest of the NFL will also appreciate his ability to create turnovers. Carolina’s defense suffered a setback last year after allowing Josh Norman to leave via free agency.

41. Cincinnati Bengals- Carl Lawson, Edge, Auburn

Carl Lawson is a 1st round talent who slips to this spot in the draft due to some durability concerns. The Bengals need a young pass rusher who can take some pressure off of their current starters.

42. New Orleans Saints- Tyus Bowser, LB, Houston

The Saints need to add talent on the defensive side of the ball and Tyus Bowser is full of talent. He’s a versatile linebacker who can drop in coverage, set the edge against the run and rush the passer. It’s his upside as a pass rusher that has everyone so intrigued.

43. Philadelphia Eagles- Chidobe Awuzie, CB, Colorado

Philadelphia needs to come out of this draft with a few cornerbacks capable of competing for playing time. Chidobe Awuzie is someone who can push for a starter job right away. At the very least, he should be able to work his way into the nickle and dime packages.

44. Buffalo Bills- Jordan Willis, Edge, Kansas State

Jordan Willis is a disruptive defender who wowed everyone with his combine performance. The key will be getting him to routinely play up to his athletic profile. Sean McDermott is the type of coach who could accomplish this feat.

45. Arizona Cardinals- DeShone Kizer, QB, Notre Dame

Bruce Arians gets his developmental quarterback here in the big-armed DeShone Kizer. He’s a few years away from playing, but he has the tools Arians looks for in a quarterback.
