19. Miami Dolphins

Key Additions: Lawrence Timmons, Julius Thomas, Charles Harris, Raekwon McMillan, Cordrea Tankersley and Isaac Asiata

Key Losses: Dion Sims, Jordan Cameron

This is truly a make or break season for Ryan Tannehill. He’s coming off a solid season where the coaching of Adam Gase created improvement. Gase and the rest of the team are now expecting Tannehill to lead this team to another playoff berth.

More from With the First Pick

The Miami Dolphins have solid offensive weapons that should help make Tannehill’s life easier. Jarvis Landry, Kenny Stills, DeVante Parker, Jay Ajayi and Julius Thomas each find ways to contribute. The offensive line should also be solid after last year’s mid-season shuffle.

Miami’s defense should be strong again this year with most of their starters set to return. The addition of rookie Charles Harris should give a boost to the pass rush. He’s still raw as a player, but has the speed to generate pressure off the edge.

The secondary will benefit for Reshad Jones returning from injury. However, the key will be the development of cornerbacks Xavien Howard and Cordrea Tankersley. Miami’s defense will also benefit from the addition of Lawrence Timmons at linebacker.

This is a really talented team that isn’t ready to unseat the New England Patriots but should be able to compete for a wildcard spot.
