26. Washington Redskins

Key Additions: Terrell McClain, Terrelle Pryor, D.J. Swearinger, Jonathan Allen, Ryan Anderson, Fabian Moreau, Samaje Perine and Montae Nicholson

Key Losses: Pierre Garcon, DeSean Jackson, Chris Baker

The Washington Redskins offseason was filled with turmoil and controversy. They fired their General Manager prior to the draft and continue to make a mess of Kirk Cousins contract situation. All these distractions could negatively impact their play on the field.

More from With the First Pick

Despite the turmoil, Washington made some solid moves this offseason. The signing of Terrelle Pryor should help ease the loss of Pierre Garcon and Desean Jackson. However, the health of second-year receiver Josh Doctson could have a bigger impact.

Washington’s defense got an infusion of talent with the additions of Zach Brown, Terrell McClain, D.J. Swearinger, Jonathan Allen, Ryan Anderson and Fabian Moreau.

Look for McClain and Allen to provide the toughness that was lacking up front last year. They will make it more difficult for opponents to establish a ground game. The secondary will also have a new look with Swearinger and Su’a Cravens taking over at safety.

Josh Norman will again play a major role, but don’t expect him to shadow the opponent’s top target. This means that one of Moreau, Bashaud Breeland  and Kendall Fuller needs to solidify the other corner spot.
