This article takes an in-depth look at the Chicago Bears draft. It identifies the sleepers, riskiest picks, depth chart impact and overall grade. Chicago only added 5 players in this draft which limits the candidates for each topic.
However, the Bears had one of the more polarizing drafts which creates plenty of talking points. Their decision to trade up for Mitch Trubisky was the surprise of the draft and something everyone will watch over the next few years.
The big question is whether or not the Bears landed their quarterback of the future. It seems like a 50-50 chance that they accomplished this task or made a major mistake.
Trubisky’s lack of experience means that it could be a year or two until we get a real look at his talents. It’s possible that he doesn’t take a regular season snap during the upcoming year.
