This projected 2018 NFL Draft Order gives an idea how things could shake out in the upcoming NFL season.

The 2017 NFL Draft is in the books meaning it’s time to start looking towards next year. Below is a projected 2018 NFL Draft Order based on my NFL Power Rankings article from last week. It uses the power rankings as a guide with a playoff outcome projected.

Things will obviously change as we head into the regular season. I expect to update this article after training camp, preseason and then weekly during the league year.

The New York Jets land the No. 1 overall pick in this first edition of my projected 2018 NFL Draft Order. They have a lot of holes on their roster and major question marks at the quarterback position.

We have two teams with multiple 1st round picks in the 2018 NFL Draft. The Buffalo Bills and Cleveland Browns added extra picks by dropping down in the 2017 NFL Draft order. Both teams are primed to add some major talent with those picks.

Cleveland and Buffalo could be in the quarterback next year which means they can use their extra picks to ensure they get their target.
