The Bills handled themselves well during the 2017 NFL Draft. They pulled off a few trades that both landed them talented players and future draft capital. It’s important not to ignore the fact they grabbed a 2018 1st round pick when evaluating this draft.

That pick is like a lottery ticket that could reap major rewards should the Chiefs struggle. At the very least, the Bills head into the 2018 Draft with two 1st round picks and a chance to add some significant difference makers.

The 2017 draft should also provide the Bills with lots of production. Zay Jones is going to get plenty of opportunities and has the talent to be a big-play threat. He will go through some growing pains, but you can’t teach his size-speed combination.

Tre’Davious White isn’t flashy but he’s someone who will get the job done. He has the size to matchup with bigger targets and the quickness to keep in-phase. His improved ball skills make him a threat to pull down interceptions.

Look for Dion Dawkins to earn a starting job early in the season. He should get plenty of opportunities to seize the right tackle job.

Nathan Peterman was a steal in the 5th round even if he never develops into anything more than a good backup.
