Sleepers

Isaiah McKenzie is an explosive athlete with the speed to produce big plays. He had great production as a return man at Georgia and will get a chance to do the same with the Broncos. Last year, the Broncos had some issues in the return game which is likely a reason McKenzie is on the roster.

Emmanuel Sanders is a good return man, but he is getting older and the Broncos need his full focus on playing wide receiver. This is part of the reason Jordan Norwood got some of run as the punt returner where fumbles were an issue.

McKenzie will get a shot at establishing himself as a return man, but could also get some work at wide receiver. His type of speed is something the opposing defense will need to respect. Denver could draw up a few plays to get the ball in his hands.

Despite his off-field issues, Chad Kelly is an intriguing prospect with upside. He has the physical tools to be an NFL quarterback. I could envision a scenario where Kelly shows enough progress that the Broncos give him the backup job.

This would allow them to search the trade market for either Trevor Siemian or Paxton Lynch.
