NFC South: Top 4 Impact Free Agent division Signings
The future looked bright anyway for the Tampa Buccaneers offense even without DeSean Jackson. Quarterback Jameis Winston has shown growth over the past few seasons and that upward trend is expected to continue in 2017.
Winston already had at his disposal one of the top wide receivers in the league in Mike Evans. This tandem gives the Tampa Bay Buccaneers a talented young duo in their passing game to compete in the NFC South. However, something was missing.

Something that a lot of NFL offenses need but don’t have. A deep threat that can blow the top off a defense. So to solve that problem the Buccaneers went out and signed one of the top deep threats in the league in DeSean Jackson.
One of the main reasons the Buccaneers had to make the move was to try to keep pace with the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons offense is one of the best in the NFL and the other teams in the division know that putting points on the board against them is a priority.
DeSean Jackson helped the Washington Redskins offense emerge as one of the most potent as well. Now his presence may help the Tampa Bay Buccaneers ascend in the NFC South too.
