17. Denver Broncos- Bradley Chubb, DE, NC State

The Denver Broncos defensive has suffered some significant losses over the past few years. Malik Jackson and DeMarcus Ware are the biggest names, but a few other key pieces have moved on. They need to add some young talent to the front-7.

NC State’s Bradley Chubb would be an ideal fit because he could play a few spots on the defense. He could line up at defensive end and work at outside linebacker. However, his ability to generate pressure on the quarterback is what stands out.

Denver’s recent team success had a lot to do with the team’s ability to create pressure and cover on the back end. The Broncos are hoping that Shane Ray can step into Ware’s spot and they don’t miss a beat. However, a defense can never have enough players capable of impacting the quarterback.

It’s possible the Broncos look to add some more offensive weapons. They could use another receiver and a potential upgrade at running back. Last year, CJ Anderson and Devontae Booker struggled to establish a steady ground attack.

Denver could see someone like Alabama’s Bo Scarbrough as an upgrade and potentially dominant player.
