29. Dallas Cowboys- Ronnie Harrison, S, Alabama

The Dallas Cowboys are set on the offensive side of the ball. They feature one of the better combinations of a strong offensive line, young quarterback, dominating running back and wide receiver. Their problems come on the defensive side of the ball.

This is a franchise that hopes to make a Super Bowl run as early as this season. However, some issues on the defensive side of the ball could derail those hopes.  Concerns can be found on all three levels, but the secondary needs the most work.

Alabama’s Ronnie Harrison is a versatile safety prospect who impacts both the running and passing game. He’s the type of back-end defender that solidifies an entire defense. Harrison would look great alongside Byron Jones at safety.

Dallas also has some issues at the cornerback position. However, those concerns could disappear if rookies Chidobe Awuzie and Jourdan Lewis perform. They could even move Jones back to cornerback if they add someone like Harrison.

The same could be said about the need for a pass rusher. Dallas is hoping rookie Taco Charlton solidifies one spot and Demarcus Lawrence finally lives up to his potential. Otherwise, the Cowboys could target a defensive end in the 2018 NFL Draft.
