6. Orlando Magic- Luke Kennard, SG, Duke

The entire NBA has become shooter crazy which means there’s plenty of love for Luke Kennard. He’s arguably the top shooter in the draft and someone who can also create his own shot. His skill set is the type that typically pushes a prospect up the draft.

Orlando has a lot of non-shooters like Elfrid Payton and Aaron Gordon on the roster.

7. Minnesota Timberwolves- Jonathan Isaac, SF/PF, Florida State

I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Timberwolves trade this pick to find an established veteran. If they keep the pick look for them to grab someone with defensive upside. Jonathan Isaac has the length and motor to be a top-flight defender.

He also flashes some shooting range which is something the Timberwolves need.

8. New York Knicks- Frank Ntilikina, PG, France

The rumors are that Phil Jackson and the New York Knicks love Frank Ntilikina. They see him as a perfect fit for the triangle offense and to grow along side Kristaps Porzingis. The Knicks have a lot of question marks, but finding a long-term point guard might be the biggest.

9. Dallas Mavericks- Lauri Markkanen, PF, Arizona

After watching Lauri Markkanen play a few times this season I loved the way he played the game. His ability to both shoot it from three and work his way to the basket makes him a unique player. He might not be an elite athlete, but he flashed enough movement skills to be a solid defender.

The Dallas Mavericks know the value of having a 7-footer who can hit jump shots. Markkanen will never be Dirk Nowitzki, but he could carve out a very strong career.
