13. Cleveland Browns (via Hou)- Christian Kirk, WR, Texas A&M

Earlier in this mock draft, the Cleveland Browns landed their franchise quarterback in Sam Darnold. This pick allows them to add another offensive weapon in Christian Kirk. His addition would give the Browns some really interesting offensive talent.

Darnold would have the pleasure of targeting Corey Coleman, Kenny Britt, David Njoku and Kirk. That’s an extremely explosive group of pass catchers.

14. Carolina Panthers- Bradley Chubb, DE, NC State

The Carolina Panthers are heading into this season with Julius Peppers and Charles Johnson as their top defensive ends. They are both well past their prime with Peppers coming in at the ripe age of 38. It’s obvious the Panthers need an infusion of youth at the position.

Bradley Chubb is an ideal fit thanks to his ability to both rush the pass and support the run. He has the size and build to play defensive end in Carolina’s 4-3 attack. Chubb features the skill set needed to be a double-digit sack guy in the NFL.

15. Baltimore Ravens- James Washington, WR, Oklahoma State

The Baltimore Ravens continue to try and plug their wide receiver corps with aging veterans. This year they added Jeremy Maclin, but eventually they need to find a young stud. James Washington is a big-play threat who would fit with Joe Flacco’s style.

Baltimore could also look to address the offensive line which is looking to replace Ricky Wagner this year.

16. Detroit Lions- Arden Key, Edge, LSU

Arden Key is an intriguing talent who has flashed elite pass rush ability. However, there are some off-field question marks that cloud his draft stock. This area of the draft seems like a perfect spot to take a gamble.

The Detroit Lions need another pass rushing threat to take pressure off of Ziggy Ansah. His production dropped this past year due to constant double teams.
