15. Carolina Panthers- Bradley Chubb, DE, NC State

The Carolina Panthers defense will rely heavily on two old defensive ends this season. Both Julius Peppers and Charles Johnson are on the last stretch of their careers. Carolina is stretching it a little this year by counting on them so heavily.

They need to start planning ahead and find a young stud in the upcoming draft. This is a defense that relies on the front four to generate most of the pressure. Things could get ugly this year if they are forced to add more blitz packages to the mix.

Carolina could look in their backyard to find a long-term answer. Bradley Chubb is a well-build and athletic defensive end prospect. He has made major improvements each year and has put himself in the 1st round mix.

Chubb would be a nice fit in Carolina’s defense which likes to employ a 4-3 attack. He has the size and strength to set the edge against the run and hold up at the line of scrimmage.

His pass rushing skills are tied to his quick first step, good hand usage and non-stop motor. He has all the skills needed to develop into a consistent double-digit sack artist at the next level.
