However, the Giants offensive line has a lot of question marks and could derail the entire unit. Ereck Flowers is back again at left tackle after another year of struggling to protect Eli. We will see if the decision to draft Engram in the 1st round over someone like Cam Robinson was a good move.
The 2018 NFL Draft could be an opportunity for the Giants to finally solve the left tackle problem. Western Michigan’s Chukwuma Okorafor is a fluid athlete who excels in pass protection.
He has the size, length and foot speed needed to hold up in space. Okorafor is a good athlete who features a natural bend and movement skills. He is also a heady player who knows how to use his size to his advantage.
Okorafor is flying under the radar at this point, but should see his stock soar with a strong season. He’s squarely in the running to be the first offensive tackle selected in the 2018 NFL Draft.
