3. Chicago Bears- Calvin Ridley, WR, Alabama

If the Chicago Bears are picking inside the top-5 next year they will be in prime position to trade the pick. With Mitch Trubisky in place, they’ll be one of the few teams that are not looking to add a quarterback.

These are the type of situations where franchises will over pay in order to move up a few spots to land a quarterback. Chicago could move down the draft and pick up a major haul.

If Chicago keeps the pick, they could target a playmaker like Calvin Ridley to help Trubisky’s development. Ridley is a long and explosive receiver who excels at making plays down the field. He’s a real difference maker and big-play threat.

The Bears need help at the wide receiver position where they lack playmakers. Kevin White’s injuries and lack of develop have really set them back at the position. Ridley has proven durable and will enter the league with more experience.

Trubisky’s development will heavily depend on the Bears surrounding him with proper talent. They already have a solid offensive line and an elite running back in Jordan Howard. The missing piece is a star wide receiver which is a role Ridley can fill.
