The first week of fantasy football features some major surprises like Kareem Hunt and heartbreak with David Johnson’s injury. This article gives some must starts for week 2.

We are in the 2nd week of the NFL Season which means it’s time to set those Fantasy Football lineups. This week has several intriguing matchups which I highlight with my Must Starts of the week.

Larry Fitzgerald vs. Indianapolis Colts

Without Andrew Luck, the Indianapolis Colts might be the worst team in the NFL. Their offense just can’t effectively move the ball with Scott Tolzien under center. It won’t be much different if they decide to start Jacoby Brissett.

The lack of success on offense means that their sub-par defense is on the field for more snaps. This is great news for Larry Fitzgerald and the Arizona Cardinals offense. The Cardinals will look to make an early statement against the Colts after their week 1 loss.

Fitzgerald figures to be one of the main benefactors of David Johnson’s injury. Arizona doesn’t have a great backup option at running back and there isn’t much talent available on the free agent market. This means that Bruce Arians is likely to open the passing game up even more.

Despite his age, Fitzgerald is still one of the more effective receivers in the league. He wins using his size, route-running ability and knowledge of the game. This is someone that doesn’t need elite athleticism to get the job done.

However, the talk of his drop in athleticism is over spoken. He should be able to put on a show against the lowly Colts this weekend.
