Fantasy Football: Must Starts for Week 2
By Jon Dove
Leonard Fournette vs. Tennessee Titans
It was made very clear in the Jacksonville Jaguars first game that Leonard Fournette is the focal point of their offense. He touched the ball 29 times out of the team’s 50 offensive snaps. The thinking here is that the more touches for Fournette the less throws for Blake Bortles.
Jacksonville also realizes that the strength of their team is the defense. They want to limit the offensive mistakes while controlling the clock. With Fournette, they aren’t just playing it safe as he’s talented enough to move the chains and put points on the board.

The Tennessee Titans will look to employ a similar strategy by feeding the ball to running backs Demarco Murray and Derrick Henry. This game is going to be about who has the stronger defense and better ground game.
Tennessee surrendered over 100 rushing yards to the Oakland Raiders in week 1. Marshawn Lynch accounted for 75 of those yards. The Raiders have a powerful offensive line, but also like to attack through the air.
Oakland only attempted 29 rushes against the Titans—only three more than Fournette attempted against the Houston Texans.
The bottom line is that Fournette is going to get a ton of touches and the Jaguars defense is strong enough to make this strategy work.
