ORCHARD PARK, NY – SEPTEMBER 10: Josh McCown

1. New York Jets

The Jets performed exactly as we expected against the Buffalo Bills. This is a team that has little chance for success. Their lack of talent at the quarterback position figures to keep them in the mix for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.

They should have a great opportunity to solve their quarterback problems in next year’s draft. Wyoming’s Josh Allen, USC’s Sam Darnold and UCLA’s Josh Rosen all have franchise quarterback potential.

2. San Francisco 49ers

San Francisco is another team that has a great chance to land the No. 1 overall pick. They also have questionable talent at quarterback and limited weapons in the passing game. There is some talent in the defensive front 7, but not enough to help them score a bunch of wins.

3. Cleveland Browns

The Cleveland Browns played very well in their opening game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. They have some intriguing young pieces in place that could surprise some teams. However, Cleveland is putting a lot of their chances of winning on the young arm of DeShone Kizer.

4. Chicago Bears

Chicago was only a few yards and a drop away from upsetting the Atlanta Falcons. Mike Glennon managed the game by avoiding turnovers and slowly moving the chains. However, it’s Chicago’s defense that kept them in that game.
