However, the Chargers lost at home to the Miami Dolphins 19-17. The Chargers had a chance to win the game on a 44 yard field goal but Younghoe Koo missed the attempt. Quarterback Philip Rivers passed for 331 yards and 1 TD. But it wasn’t enough as the Chargers rushing total dropped from 64 yards rushing in week 1 to just 44 yards against the Dolphins. In week 3, the Los Angeles Chargers remain at home to take on the 2-0 Kansas City Chiefs.. Lost to Dolphins 19-17

New Orleans Saints. 23. team. 15. The New Orleans Saints rise one spot in the NFL Power Rankings to number 23. The Saints lost at home to the New England Patriots 36-20. The Saints defense gave up 555 yards of offense and allowed three touchdown passes in the first quarter by Tom Brady, With the Patriots getting out to such a huge lead, Drew Brees and the Saints offense could never catch up. In week 3, the Saints go on the road to take on the NFC South rival Carolina Panthers and Cam Newton.. Lost to Patriots 36-20 . Previous:
