Fantasy Football: Must Starts for Week 3
By Jon Dove
Things are starting to heat up as we head into the 3rd week of the Fantasy Football season.
The Fantasy Football season is pretty long and provides each player a chance to shape their roster. However, there a ton of players out there who are winless and might be running out of time. Below is a list of must start players for week 3:
Pittsburgh Steelers Defense vs. Chicago Bears
The Chicago Bears offense is a total mess right now. They have struggled to establish a running game and have lost their top two pass catchers to injury. The Pittsburgh Steelers should also be able to take advantage of Mike Glennon’s poor play.

Cooper Kupp vs. San Francisco 49ers
Jared Goff has a real connection with Cooper Kupp. He already appears to be his go-to target. Kupp’s Week 2 fantasy numbers would’ve been better had he not slipped running a route near the goal line.
Jay Ajayi vs. New York Jets
The New York Jets defense has allowed 275 rushing yards through two weeks. This has to do with a combination of holes on the defense as well as the offense’s inability to sustain drives. Jay Ajayi should rack up a ton of carries against the lowly Jets this weekend.
Christian McCaffrey vs. New Orleans Saints
I’m predicting a breakout game for the rookie Christian McCaffrey. He has been slow to find his footing, but facing the New Orleans Saints should fix that problem. The Carolina Panthers need McCaffrey to be effective if they want to get out of their offensive slump.
J.J. Nelson vs. Dallas Cowboys
The Arizona Cardinals have been without a lot of their offensive firepower so far this season. However, this has allowed J.J. Nelson to see more targets. He features game breaking speed and the ability to stretch the field. Look for the Cardinals to take a few shots down field with Nelson against the Cowboys.
